There’s a lot to love about Stereo Stereo, and the expertise of our owner, Michael Klein, is at the top of the list. He’s been working in home audio for more than 50 years. His very first job as a teenager was in a stereo store in the Pittsburgh suburb of McKeesport. He’s never worked a different job—always stereo sales, through all the decades of technological changes and advancements. From vinyl records to 8 tracks, cassettes, CDs and finally streaming, Michael has been there as it’s all happened. And through it all, McIntosh has been on his list of favorites.

“McIntosh is one of the first hi-fi brands I fell in love with,” Michael says. That love has lasted longer than most marriages, and it’s not a coincidence. Michael knows quality, and McIntosh delivers it consistently, decade after decade. In the 50 years he’s been selling McIntosh products, most American manufacturers have moved their production offshore, but not McIntosh, which is still proudly made in the USA at their upstate New York factory.
