OUR RECORDS

This isn’t your typical dusty record store.

The Record Room carries new, unopened vinyl albums from labels such as MoFi (Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab), Deutsche Grammophon and Acoustic Sounds, all renowned for their incredible audio quality. Music lovers may be particularly interested in our selections from the Original Source line from Deutsche Grammaphon, and in Acoustic Sounds' UHQR Vinyl Records (Ultra High-Quality Records). Additionally, we carry classic re-releases on high-quality vinyl from Atlantic Records, Rhino Records and Blue Note. A collection of 180 gram vinyl from chart-topping classic bands like the Beatles and Black Sabbath will also be available for purchase in the Record Room.

No Turntable? No Problem.

Stereo Stereo is more than a record store. We’re primarily a place for audiophiles and music lovers alike to curate the best-possible setup for listening to music at home. That means if you don’t have a record player—we refer to them as turntables around here—we can help get you set up with everything you need to actually listen to your records.

One of the most charming cultural developments in recent years is the migration back to physical media. From savvy pop star merchandizing to frustration with the ephemerality of digital media, music lovers have many reasons to start gravitating back toward physical media. And there’s nothing like the nostalgia and beauty of a great record. In short, rumors of vinyl’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. But that doesn’t mean all contemporary collectors are actually equipped to listen to their records. If this sounds like you (or someone you know), stop in and let us help you turn those records from mere decor into something you can actually use.
